[info]spikedpunch
The mother of a local fur who passed away last year, is having a moving sale on Saturday 7am-2pm (or whenever they run out of stuff).
Various furniture, TVs, kitchen supplies, you name it.
I do not have an exact address, but it is on a very short street. Once you turn off of Heritage Parkway, you will see it. It is hard to miss.
Location: Pierce View Cir, Wentzville, MO 63385

As you may or may not know, a local fursuiter by the names of Anubis / Phenobarb Wolf / Simba T Lion passed away back in February of this year.
His family has asked me to help them sort out his earthly possessions, and I need some help.

My understanding is that there was a website(s) that he used to posted his fursuit pictures on, and I need to find as many of them as possible for the upcoming eBay sales. If anyone can point me in the proper direction to find these photos, it would help us out a lot. Or even better if you happen to have some of his photos that you could email, that would help out greatly as well.

And on a side note, yes, I will be posting the list of auctions here when they are ready.

[info]stickypawz
Are you a fursuit designer, a craftsman? Or are you a performer, an entertainer? Do you have experience in or with fursuits?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, and would like to share that experience with other furs then Memphit Fur Meet 2011 needs you!!! We are looking for panelist with something to say.

MFM needs speakers in the following areas:

- Fursuit Etiquette & Safety
- Fursuit Performance
- Fursuit Design
- Fursuit Construction

If you are going to be at MFM this year and you have something to say on the subject of Fursuiting in any of its facets Please e-mail Ryngs at rakune (at) gmail.com ASAP!

Thanks & hope to hear from you!

Anyone want to help a sim owner down on his luck? May. 25th, 2011 @ 02:21 pm

I was wondering if someone could lend me a usb memorystick with a SecondLife viewer installed on it. I had one a couple years ago and foolishly deleted the viewer.

It's been 4 weeks now and I still haven't been able to get the money for a new computer system. I need to be able to get online and see first hand what's going on in Dover. The library computers are slow but they can run a viewer if it's been installed to a memorystick.

Cann't install anything directly on the library systems.

Was going to institute new rent structure on Dover but cann't get anything done on my own without some kind of access.

I'm off wednesdays and thursdays.

Saint Louis Pride This Weekend!!! Jun. 23rd, 2010 @ 04:45 pm
[info]tygercowboy
Pride weekend is upon us!

Friday - Anyone want to do coffee or something? Maybe hit one of the places along Grand Ave that has outside seating?

Saturday - Pridefest earlier in the day. It opens at 11am so meet up there around that time. If anyone wants to Fursuit they have always been well received at Pridefest. Hang out at Pridefest till we are ready to go. Just remember it’s going to be VERY hot. Please make sure and have money for water or something or bring your own.

Saturday evening - Pride Potluck at the BBH, 6267 Famous. 6pm till whenever. Potluck rules apply....Let me know if you plan to join so we can plan accordingly

Potluck rules - The whole purpose of a Potluck is a gathering where everyone brings a dish to share. The rule of thumb is that what ever you bring should be enough for 4-6 people to each have a decent serving. Look at it like going out got a decent dinner. You would probably spend $15 plus for Chili's or Fudruckers, and you are getting a hellacious amount of food that you will have at, so spend accordingly. Nothing pisses off a host more than a mooch. If you want to come but can't financially afford to get something, talk to the host upfront/privately BEFORE the event about it. Heck if nothing else offer to do dishes, take out the trash or help clean up. Contribute how you can that will help the host!

Sunday - Looks like it’s going to be a steamy one!!! Right now the current weather forecast for Sunday (parade doesn’t start till noon) is 97 with a possible heat index of 115 to 120 with an Excessive Heat Warning. We have been invited by Novak’s which will have a “Beach” theme (you should plan accordingly if you want to be with them) or JJ’s to march with them in the parade. (Bad Dog is not having a parade entry this year from what I have been told) Quite honestly with the time we have to be there for staging (roughly 2 hours prior to kick off at Noon) then waiting for the actual kick off it’s usually a minimum of 4-6 hours you will be on the blacktop with very little shade around. For this reason, I know myself along with a few others are going to watch the parade this year rather than marching. We will probably be by Cheap TRX and hang with our friends there to see the parade. Then after the parade we will go someplace for a nice lunch where it’s COOL!

So Happy Pride Everyone! See you this weekend!

Cardinals Baseball Game!! Jun. 13th, 2010 @ 10:12 pm

I hope this is okay to post. If not, please delete!..

For Father's Day (June 20, 2010 at 1:15 PM against Oakland) , and June birthdays, my sister reserved a private room at Busch Stadium. Originally, we were anticipating about 30 people to show, and a LOT of people dropped out on her after saying they would go. She posted on craigslist to sell the remaining tickets, and was met with scammers. I believe her paypal was even compromised.  I asked her if I could offer some people the chance to buy some of the tickets and party with us, and she said go for it! We'll have A/C, food, and refreshments, and my family is pretty cool. They know about furries too, as my husband and I have been doing conventions for YEARS, and all that jazz. :3

I only ask two things, and that is we don't use foul language around the kids (or the 90 year old parents), and we don't do any heavy drinking. My family is really easy going, but we wouldn't want to have to babysit anyone.

The buffet is 2.5 hours long, and beer service runs through the 7th inning. Soda will be served through the entire game.  We will have seating in the room, and I believe outside as well. We'll be in the party box 319 along the first base foul line! Awesome? Yes....yes, it is!

Anyway, we have tickets available for $120 each. It is a lot, and I don't expect too many people will be able to afford it right now. But you'd probably spend $120 easy getting good seats, and food at the ballpark anyway.

If anyone is interested in joining us, and having a great time at the game, we have a few tickets leftover that haven't been claimed.

You can email me ForbiddenLinesTattoo [at] gmail .dot. com (or comment here) if you're interested!
